Global Outreach

Here are just a couple other web resources to get you thinking of how we can add to the global community.

What will I need to do Podcasting?

  1. Microphone that attaches to a computer. You should be able to find a nice basic one for less than $30. Be sure to think about if you will be podcasting one student at a time or multiple students.  Lapel mics are better for one student. Check out Olympus ME-15 Microphone on Amazon.  Desktop microphones are better for a group of students. Check out Logitech Desktop Microphone on Amazon.
  2. Audacity. Audacity is a free download here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/  Lame Encoder for Audacity. This lets you save your audio files as an MP3. Get it here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3
